the process:
I. Submit the inquiry form below, chat and prepare.
Whether we have already chatted briefly or you are new to Ansley Shaye Photography, submitting the form below helps give us a good base to start planning your session. I will be in contact with you so we can work off your ideas and plan a session that is specific to your wants and needs. We will talk about locations, outfits and any concerns or ideas you have.
II. Take photos.
Your session date will come and we will meet up for your session! I come completely prepared to pose you/your family so you don't need to worry about that.
III. Deliver memories.
You will receive your gallery via email in no more than 2 weeks from your session date. You will pick out your prints that are included in the package along with any extras if you would like. You will be able to download your images from your gallery as well as place orders for more products.
The Signature Session $450
A thoughtfully curated photography experience where every detail is planned, guided, and refined—allowing you to be fully present while your memories are artfully preserved.
Your Signature Session Includes:

- Professional posing and gentle direction throughout the session
- Personalized session planning for a seamless, stress-free experience
- Expected session duration of 30 minutes to 1 hour, allowing time for variety and flow
- Three 5×7 fine art prints
- Two 8×10 fine art prints
- Fine art prints are professionally produced and shipped directly to you
Heirloom Family Session $550
Designed for families of six or more, this session is ideal for capturing meaningful connections across generations. With the same thoughtful planning, gentle guidance, and refined artistry as the Signature Session—plus additional time and attention for larger group dynamics.
Your Heirloom Family Session Includes:
- 65+ professionally edited, high-resolution digital images with print release
- Professional posing and direction for individuals, families, and group portraits
- Personalized session planning to ensure a smooth and well-paced experience
- Expected session duration of 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, allowing time for multiple groupings
- Three 5×7 fine art prints
- Two 8×10 fine art prints
- Fine art prints are professionally produced and shipped directly to you
FAQ
How to describe the editing style and are the images retouched?
A.I describe the editing style as naturally light with a little extra pop. I do retouch images including but not limited to some blemish control, stray hairs and slightly smoothing skin. I would NEVER want anyone to look at an image of themselves and be able to notice that I have retouched it. I use retouching to enhance the photo not to change the person. We can't always control wind making your hair crazy or a red tint to your face because we live in the south and its humid and a hundred degrees, so I do like to slightly help with these things in the editing process. Touches so subtle that they aren't noticeable, that's my goal.
Do you shoot weekdays or weekends?
A.Yes and yes. Weekdays are much easier to book but I shoot limited weekends as well. When you reach out to book I will offer you a range of dates including weekdays and weekends.
How long does it take to receive a gallery?
A.Turnaround time is 1-2 weeks but absolutely no more than 2 weeks from the day of your session.
Are there any sneak peaks?
A.Nope, honestly I don't offer sneak peaks because when I edit your session it's not a 1 and done type thing. I edit, refresh my eyes and make adjustments again. I want your gallery to be cohesive so I only do all your images at once when delivered.
What products do you offer?
A.Sessions come with three 5X7 & two 8X10 fine art prints. I promise you will see the difference in these prints, the quality is unmatched. You can also order a wide range of sizes in these fine art prints. I also offer custom albums in the sizes of 6X9 or 8X12, these can be hard cover full photos front and back or an espresso leather cover with matte gold embossing. This is personally my favorite way to preserve your session.
How to I order a custom album?
A.You can purchase this through your online gallery. You will select around 40-45 images and what type of cover you would like. I will design this album for you, order it and ship it directly to you. So easy, so precious.
I just want a small session, do you have a smaller option?
A.I do not offer smaller sessions to be booked anytime. I offer one option for regular family/couple sessions that is called The Signature Session. If you are looking for a smaller session I will offer mini sessions 1-2 times per year that will be specific dates and locations. These will be posted to social media and on my website if they are available and currently booking.
Location Ideas?
A.I have a tab just for this! It includes places I shoot at often, images from there and the travel fee if applicable. We do not have to use one of these locations though, we can brainstorm and come up with something special for you!
